Hello, darlings!

I know it’s been ages since I blogged and truly I find myself drawn to writing over and over again. Right now, I am back to my first love and oh my gosh, a lot has happened since my last post, both in my personal life and in my business, so I am really back with a bang!  Without further ado, let us get right into to topic for the day!

I remember it was just a minute ago, I had a beautiful, flawless, bouncing, fresh and hydrated skin and then the next minute, I saw visible lines on my forehead and my face looked scaly and dry, plus the one I detest the most, my pores became enlarged, such that Foundation settles into my pores and I could see my pores through my makeup even when my makeup is freshly applied. UGGHHHH!

Do you relate to all these things that I mentioned? If you can, then welcome aboard, or should I say congratulations you are reading this.

Before you think it’s because I wasn’t consistent with my skincare routine or because I wasn’t having proper nutrition or drinking enough water etc.  I was indeed doing all these correctly. So what could the problem possibly be?

I was spot on using the wrong products. Did someone say how possible is it to use the wrong products?  I should find and use only products designed to address my skin issues, true, but the problem was in using the RIGHT skincare products with the WRONG ingredients for my skin type.

You see, most products are designed to give optimum results true, but a combination of some ingredients could do more harm than good in correcting the skin issues. It is extremely important we know every ingredient that goes into our skincare products because not all skin can tolerate some ingredients like alcohol, synthetic dyes, PEGs, Parabens, Formaldehyde etc.(More on this soon).

The skin surely can absorb most of what is put on it and they get passed into the bloodstream and into other internal tissue and organs – especially when these harmful ingredients are paired with penetration enhancers (most of which are synthetic) hence why you really need to be careful about what you put on your skin.

Most of these harmful ingredients are put in the products for aesthetic purposes, some are active ingredients, some are for preserving the products, but in all, how do they benefit your skin?

You see, the skin needs to be nutured and cared for by getting most of what it needs in the most natural way possible. Though most times, we do not to use some ingredients in their most natural or raw form, it is better that they pass through some refinement process in order to be easily used and absorbed by the skin without altering it’s comoponets, that is why we use natural and nature-derived ingredients in our formulations.

Oh did I add that since I started using all natural products, it made sooooo much difference, my skin is calmer, no scales or flare-ups, the line on my forehead is less visible, and wow, my pores are shrunken and less visible, my skin is hydrated and has more bounce and elasticity as well. Phew! Such a relief.

I will definitely fill you in at length with the exact things I used and I am here for you now and ready to answer your questions to the best of my ability, but for now, enjoy the rest of your week. Do not forget to put your comment down here, I would love to hear from you. What skin concerns are you having and how are you handling it? I could be of help if you llet me, please put your comment below and let’s chat. Until my next post,

Bloom!
